Scaling 3D construction printing successfully with the perfect building design?

3D printing has arrived in the construction industry. PERI 3D Construction has carried out groundbreaking projects and is considered a pioneer in automated and modern residential construction. One of the biggest hurdles to successfully scaling the company today is the oftentimes higher cost of a printed building compared to a conventionally built house.
Therefore, in cooperation with an architect, the gathered findings and learnings from previous projects are now being incorporated into a “perfect” design for 3D printed houses. The aim of this design is to optimize costs and construction processes so that for the first time we end up at the same cost level as conventional construction (or be even cheaper!). This joint project is intended to be the cornerstone for scaling and further acceptance of the new technology on the market.

Now that the floor plan has been developed by the architect, the question is how to convince investors to realize this building concept on a large-scale using 3D printing.
