Head of Quality Management at KoRo
Mark Jurrat was born in 1990 in the small town of Neubrandenburg. After graduation he move to Rostock to enrol in the studies of chemistry at the city’s University. Throughout the studies he engaged in a variety of projects from the development of new pathways for the production of new commercial silicon modified polymers in cooperation with Henckel & CO KgaA to hydrogen evolution from water promoted by sun light. Following his master’s degree, he move to Nottingham, UK to pursue a PhD program in organic chemistry developing a novel alternative to classical chemical transformations using toxic nickel and palladium. Now he works at KoRo Handels GmbH as the head of quality management. His passion project is pushing the frontiers of commercial packaging materials.
