Florian Janke – Q-Summit


Florian Janke achieved his bachelor in aerospace engineering in 2016 after studying for 5 years at the technical University of Munich. During this time he worked in several student projects including i.e. the design and development of a cube sat mini satellite. After his thesis he worked in the aerospace industry befor he started a master degree at the TUM and directly joined the current Hyperloop Team. As structure team lead, he managed the development of a CFRP chassis for the new prototype as well as the construction of several propulsion components. After the successful competition and new world record, he started the third hyperloop team with his team colleagues. During this time, he was responsible for the development of the prototype as one of two technical team leads. In the end the team won the third time in a row, still holding the world record speed of 467km/h.
