Philipp Petrescu graduated from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2013. At that point he had already completed three internships at Henkel, McKinsey and JPMorgan in Brazil, Germany and the United Kingdom. Shortly after that, he co-founded Lendico, a peer-to-peer lending marketplace. It connects borrowers and lenders directly while avoiding the costs of traditional banking and therefore giving better rates to the lenders and likewise richer returns for investors. They soon got recognized by Rocket Internet, one of the world’s biggest and most successful company-builders. He left in 2015 to pursue his own dreams and he ever since has been an entrepreneur and advisor on strategy and investments for over ten start-ups and a British company.
